Hi, I’m Victor — the person behind SenpaiVibes.
I built this site for a simple reason: I wanted somewhere to talk about anime the way I actually talk about it with friends. Reviews of shows I have finished, recommendations for what is worth your weekend, and honest conversations about what is blowing up right now and whether it deserves the hype.
Why I take anime seriously
To me, anime is art. I do not say that as a fan being defensive. I say it because of what it does.
I am constantly amazed at how the people who write and animate these stories manage to carry a feeling across a screen and land it in a stranger’s chest. Whenever a scene gets me, I catch myself wondering how many years that animator studied, how many drafts that writer threw away, to build something that moves someone they will never meet.
A lot of people still call it “just cartoons.” I think everyone deserves one honest shot — one manga, one episode, one story — to find out it is not. Underneath the animation there are stories deep enough to change how you see your own life, and how you act in it.
On bad days, anime has shown me a way to keep going. On good days, it has made them better. That is not something I can be casual about, and it is why I would rather write one piece I actually thought about than ten quick ones.

What I am trying to build
More than a blog, I want a community. Somewhere you land and find information you can trust, written so it is easy to follow and genuinely fun to read — not a wall of jargon, and not a list scraped from somewhere else.
If you leave a page here knowing what to watch tonight, or seeing a show you already loved from an angle you had not considered, then it did its job.
